Hospice of the Golden Isles provides expert, compassionate care to those with life limiting illnesses, who no longer seek a cure, but very much value quality of life and the ability to remain in control of  their own healthcare decisions. Good hospices are known for providing comfort care, also called palliative care, which is designed to enrich the quality of life, so those receiving it can enjoy the rest of their lives as fully as possible.

HGI understands the physical, emotional, spiritual and financial needs of each patient and their families. We affirm life and believe that, through the personalized services of our highly-trained team, hospice patients can live well, with grace and dignity until death. A person who has a terminal illness and no longer seeks life-prolonging treatment is likely eligible for admission into hospice care.
